Bono spent some time with Oprah at the Sydney "Oprah" House today, chatting about a variety of things during a taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Bono has appeared as a guest on Oprah's show in 2002 and in 2006. He also appeared on the show in 2009 as a collaborator on "America's Song"with Faith Hill, will.i.am and others. He also was featured in O Magazine in 2004. In today's taping, he was asked if he'll ever hang up his leather jacket and take off his sunglasses. Bono replied,"These glasses give me all my superpowers." Other guests during Bono's taping included Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman and Olivia Newton-John.
Bono will participate in Oprah's new Master Class program next year where"Oprah has handpicked some of the most intriguing people of our time to share their stories, insights, and lessons from their lives." The show will be on her OWN Network, set to launch on January 1, 2011. No word yet when Bono's episode will appear.
